Multiple Teams · Girls Start New Year Strong

The Warriors Girls jump to 6-1 overall and 1-0 in league play after a dominating victory of 78-25 at Howell Charyl Stockwell Prep Academy last Thursday, January 5th. Senior guard Danielle Fusco led the Warriors with a game-high 22 points along with 6 assists! Fellow senior forward Daria Boboc also pitched in with 10 points and 7 rebounds. It was a very well-rounded effort from our girls as sophomore guard Chanelle Lochrie scored 16 points to go with 4 assists, while eighth grade guard Alexis Butler chipped in with 10 points and 5 assists!

The Sentinels received a team-high 8 points from Samantha Lyons, which wasn’t nearly enough fire power to overcome a 41-12 halftime deficit, causing a running clock throughout the second half. The Warriors shot an impressive 76.4 percent from the charity stripe at 13 for 17, while Stockwell was just 4 of 13 at 30.7 percent.

The Lady Warriors compete in their second conference game at home this Friday, January 13, at 7:00pm versus University Liggett.
